Each member of our team plays a crucial part in the success of HOPE and its members.

Brittany Miller, Business Operations

Business Operations

Brittany Miller, originally from Picayune, Mississippi, discovered her passion for music at a young age. She pursued her dreams by attending the University of Southern Mississippi, where she earned a Bachelor's degree in Music Education. 

After completing her education, Brittany began her journey as the Director of Bands at Mize High School. During her second year at Mize High, Brittany led the marching band to a 3rd place finish at the state championships with their captivating show, "The Road Less Traveled." Additionally, she introduced the school's winterguard program to the competitive circuit, participating in multiple competitions with the Mississippi Indoor Association and the Louisiana Mississippi Colorguard Percussion Circuit.

Brittany's dedication to music education and guard continued to flourish as she transitioned to the role of Assistant Band Director at West Jones High School. Here, she played a pivotal role in establishing the school's first winterguard program, further enriching the educational experiences available to students.

Currently, Brittany serves as the Middle School Band Director in Bay St. Louis, Mississippi, where she continues to inspire young musicians to reach their full potential. She is also a member of the 41st Army Band in Jackson, Mississippi. Her commitment to fostering musical excellence and passion for teaching make her a cherished member of the community. 

Trisha Daughdrill, Financial Operations

Financial Operations

Trisha is a native of Petal, MS where she currently lives and raised her two children, Jeremy and Sarah. She has 3 grandchildren and is married to Jerry Daughdrill. Trisha has spent the last 30 years in the environment(s) of the performing arts, including dance, theater, band, choir, and colorguard and plays a crucial role in supporting the ARTS.

With 40 years of financial operating experience, her roles have included bookkeeping, administrative assisting, and purchasing director. 
HOPE is incredibly fortunate to have Mrs. Daughdrill on the team; foreseeing all financial transactions and budgets!  

Staff
Tyler Allen, Staff

Tyler Allen is a native of Meridian, MS. He is a graduate of Enterprise high school where he preformed in the band for 4 Years. He played clarinet for 2 years was drum Major for 1 year and his senior year he was colorgaurd captain. He also preformed in Enterprises indoor colorgaurd group “onyx” for 3 years. Tyler has staffed as Enterprises colorguard director for 2 years receiving superior in his time there, he has also been additional staff for Northeast Jones winterguard for 1 season. He is currently the new guard director for West jones high school. When Tyler is not doing guard he enjoys painting, Interior design, shopping, and going where ever the wind takes him next.

Kam Durr, Staff

Kameron Durr is a native of Magee, MS. He attended Magee High School where he served as drum major of the Pride of Simpson County for 3 years. In 2018, Kameron served as drum major of the Mississippi All-State Lions Band where they earned their 34th International Championship in Las Vegas, Nevada. Kameron would then begin his undergraduate education at Southwest Mississippi Community College where he would serve as drum major for 2 years as well as serve as Co-captain/Co-designer for Southwest Independent Winter Guard. In 2019, they earned the bronze medal in Independent Regional A in the Mississippi Indoor Association. In 2023, Kameron received his Bachelor’s of Music Education from William Carey University. There he performed for 2 years as a saxophone player and 1 year in color guard. Throughout his career, Kameron would serve on  color guard staff in various capacities for many schools including, Magee High School, West Jones High School, And Oak Grove High School. Kameron currently serves as Director of Bands for Taylorsville High School. 

Evan Williams, Staff

Evan is from Pearl, MS. He is a graduate of Pearl High School where he was a performing member in the band for 4 years. He went on to grow in the color guard of the Madison Scouts for 3 seasons (‘09-‘11). In between those summers, he continued his performance career via winter guard in Statement Winter Guard from 2009-2013. Two of those seasons, he served as director of the Winterguard. Evan had 15 years of performance and teaching experience ranging from groups Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, and Tennessee. He even taught on both the open class and world class levels of Drum Corps International. Evan holds a bachelor’s degree of Fine Arts in Dance (choreography and performance) and loves to use his time consulting for different group and coaching performance. He is very passionate about education and is intentional in making sure every performer not only can do the skills but  understands the mechanics and the why behind it. When Evan is not doing guard, he enjoys listening to music, working out, traveling, graphic design, and spending time with his 3 year old son, Reese.
